On Thursday, February 2, 2023, twenty-three enthusiastic hikers from THRIVE 55+ joined GOSA volunteers for an invigorating 2.7-mile loop hike at Sheep Farm North on Hazelnut Hill Road. For many hikers, it was their first look at GOSA’s newest property Sheep Farm South and a chance to hike our newest trail, which was created last summer with the assistance of Pfizer volunteers. The sun-dappled trees in the forest, babbling brook, and spectacular waterfall made a beautiful backdrop for the hike. The sighting of a pileated woodpecker added to the fun. We look forward to many more hikes in the future with THRIVE 55+.
