On Sunday, April 7th, in partnership with Groton Public Schools and Groton Parks and Recreation, GOSA Board Members hosted 30+ people and 4 leashed dogs for a 2.5-mile afternoon hike at Sheep Farm. Based on the number of hikers, we split into two groups, and each took a route that included the waterfall, two bridges, and Fort Hill brook. The hikers traversed the changing terrain and moderate inclines with ease. The wooded trails displayed signs of new life, the trees were alive with birds singing, and the brook rushed through narrow sections of rocks putting on a beautiful show. We all appreciated being out in nature to soak in its benefits.
