On Friday, 50 sailors from the USS Arizona joined us to help with the long checklist of things to do at the Merritt Family Forest and Sheep Farm. It was a pleasure to meet this hard-working group and see their impressive progress in tasks including invasive vegetation management and the maintenance of trails and fields.
We all enjoyed a pizza lunch after three hours of hard work. Thanks also to GOSA volunteers Betsy, Dan S, and Scott for leading the crews.
