The Town of Groton is currently waiting for final signoff from the CT Department of Energy & Environmental Protection (DEEP) expected by mid-March. GOSA will advocate for the research of natural and historic resources on the property working with Town staff (and others) to create plans for maintaining, protecting, and providing access to the property. Working together to manage the property in the best way possible is our priority.
GOSA is excited about the Town’s investment in this new addition to the area’s green spaces and proud to support the planning. Please be patient with those involved in the process, and keep in mind that doing things the right way takes time.
