In the Spring of 2020, at the start of the global pandemic and with a palpable anxiousness felt worldwide, local musician Will Evans launched “Kind Folk,” a tight-knit fan community that’s grown into the thousands and has become a network for good friends who’ve connected via his music and the group’s charity efforts.
In February 2023, Beer’d Brewing Co. and Will Evans came together to create a positive, healing-vibe musical experience at the Velvet Mill in Stonington that has since turned into creating impact for local communities. Kind Folk and Beer’d Brewing Co. chose GOSA to support through donations based on merchandise sales.
